How it works
How this works, start to finish.
We do not take money before we know whether we can help, whether there is a conflict, and whether the matter is one we should be acting on at all. Here is the whole sequence.
Step 01
Free case check
Fifteen minutes on the transaction. No advice is given and no engagement begins at this stage. The purpose is to establish the facts, the deadline and whether there is a real question.
Step 02
Scope and fee
If we can help, you receive the scope, fixed fee and written engagement terms before anything else happens. Paid work begins only after those terms are accepted.
Step 03
Documents
We request only the documents and answers needed for the agreed work. The analysis is built on the transaction documents, dates and ownership position.
Step 04
The answer, in writing
You receive the deliverable agreed at the outset: a summary, review or reasoned written position that can be kept on file and shared within the agreed scope.
What the free case check is, and is not
It is fifteen minutes to establish the facts, the deadline and whether there is a real question. It is not advice, no engagement begins, and nothing you are told on that call should be acted on until it is confirmed in writing under agreed terms. If we cannot help, we will say so and the call costs you nothing.
